BECOMING A FREEMASON

 

Thank you for your enquiry. We are pleased that you have an interest in Freemasonry.

 

To become a Freemason, first of all you must be a man, 21 years of age or older, who believes in a Supreme Being. In addition, you must have been resident in the area for a minimum of six months immediately prior to the date of the submission of your application to join and, most importantly, you have to ask to join, as no one will ever invite you to join.

 

Furthermore, you must be uninfluenced by mercenary or other unworthy motives, and have a desire for knowledge. And you must be capable of supporting yourself and those dependent upon you.The next step is for you to talk to some Freemasons in the locality in which you either live or work.
